Airplanes

Some airplanes were flying over the Columbia River today in preparation for the hydroplane racing tomorrow. I used my 75-300mm lens and my new Bower 500mm lens. The 500mm lens is not the best, it seems to have trouble focusing on objects far away near the infinity focus mark. For focusing closer than infinity it does better, though I think my 75-300mm is a lot sharper at any distance.

These aren't normal photos of fireworks. I discovered a new and interesting way to photograph fireworks and got some nice results. Here's the website I got the idea from.
