Water Follies Airshow 2018

This year was different. There were two airshows each day with similar but different routines. I ended up going to three of the performances and got some nice photos. I finally got a shot of the sky divers shortly after jumping from the helicopter.
Some of the airplanes got really close to the water.
The schedule for the airshow didn't specify what all the airplanes were that would be flying but I knew the B-25 and the A-10.
Usually I only go to see the airshow but I stayed to watch a few of the boat races.

North Cascades

I went on a long drive up to the Washington Pass Observation Site. It was closed but there were a few spots on the side of the road nearby where I could get some photos, so it wasn't a total loss.

Hood River Scenic View

Been busy with school but finally got out to take some photos somewhere I've never been to yet. There's a nice viewpoint area in Hood River Oregon that gives a nice view of Mt Hood. I left early in the morning to get there just after sunrise.

Sunspot

Trying out my solar filter for a second time I noticed a dark spot on the sun. I checked some NASA stuff to make sure it wasn't dust on my lens or sensor. Used my Sigma 150-600mm lens at 600mm and cropped a little. https://www.nasa.gov/image-feature/goddard/2017/nasa-s-sdo-sees-a-stretch-of-spotless-sun Scroll down a little to see a video of the sunspot rotating into view of the earth, dated today July 12, 2017.
